Inspired by my cousin, who lived with Lewy Body Dementia, this piece reflects a form of strength that doesn’t announce itself loudly. It is not about force or triumph- it is about dignity.
About continuing to stand, feel, and reach toward light even as the ground beneath you becomes unstable.
The sunflowers rise with warmth and persistence, their forms animated but not aggressive. Curving lines and flowing movement soften the composition, creating a sense of grace rather than struggle. The palette carries both vitality and restraint - a visual language of endurance without hardness.
