My work moves in two distinct directions: original paintings that explore emotional presence through bold botanical form, and limited editions that emphasize structure, line, and ornamental position

Botanical form is the foundation of my practice - at times bold and dramatic, at times dissolving into atmosphere and suggestion. Each piece reflects an emotional state, an inquiry into presence, impermanence, and the tension between control and surrender.

Trained in fine art at the University of Michigan, my practice spans more than four decades of creative expression - from landscape design and television set construction to watercolor, Suminagashi, and botanical installation work. each discipline informs the next, shaping a visual language that balances structure with atmosphere.

My practice now centers on compositions designed to carry presence into a space.
